That was sweeeeeet. And I've been hoping Pokkle isn't dead b/c I like him. Really hoping he manages to get out rather than dying or having to teach nen to the ants.

chimera ant is epic
there is so much action now unlike before :drool:

in the last 3-4 episodes were probably more action than in the rest of the whole series

I haven't seen the original, but the only thing people seem to like more about it is that violence was not toned down at all. But there's plenty of blood in the new one. I wouldn't worry about it. It follows the manga and is a fantastic story with great characters, music, and animation.
