u do realize wikipedia can b changed by ne1 right? Thats not shikai, sorry. When he knows his swords name, ill call it shikai, until then, its not. Im the only one who looks at this as a major step back for this character huh? Dont u get that instead of doing something cool with ken and giving him shikai, which really makes sense, hes decided to do something comical and dumb witht he character to win the fight. This is what weve been waiting for?! For him to use a sword with two hands?! C'mon, he already did that when he fought ikkaku b4 they were part of gotei 13, in the flashback.....Now, ken will probably not fight for the rest of the series, and we lost our 1 oppurtunity to see a real release of his sword. This is the biggest cop-out ive ever seen in an anime.....Ill b super happy if nnoitra laughs at this tactic, but given how long its already gone on, this is probably it. Im so disappointed i cant put in words, they really r gonna finish this series w/out given ken his bankai, i almost dont care nemore......

There is only 1 silver lining that i can see......there r a # of chars whose bankai we havent seen, so mebbe hes just saving ken's until after weve seen everyone else's but i sincerely doubt it. More likely, the author is so afraid of not living up to what people expect that hes gonna sidestep the issue all together, just so he doesnt hafta deal with people being pissed when they dont feel kens bankai lives up to the build-up.........lame.

uh-huh, right. and i guess the fact that he said his sword is fully released all the time is just bad translation. yeah I totally understand now, thanks for enlightening me.

Shikai is the first release of ur zanpaktou, which involves knowing its name, bankai is the second release, which is more powerful. U cant do shikai w/out knowing ur swords name, i cant explain myself ne better. Wikipedia is not the place to go for info on bleach, fool. It can b edited by ne1, what u have there is an interesting theory that some1 posted, nothing more. And i dont see how u disproved nething i said.
