Tobi being the elder son does make some sense. The whole reason that I thought Tobi was Madara was because I couldn't think of anyone else who is capable of doing what Tobi is doing. I'm sure the elder son of the Sage would be capable of such things so I'm not ruling him out.

Think of this detail; people are resurrected in edo tensei the way they look when they died right? See: Nagato still had white hair, Kakuzu's hair was long and he looked the way he did when Naruto killed him. This is something that I already mentioned. Madara looks decently young and still has his samurai outfit and long ass hair.
