What if that was never Madara?.. What if the was shisui. That one mist ninja recognized shisuis genjutsu being the one controling the 4th mizukage
Shisuis controling the mist, so if he died in the leaf he always had a place to go.

obviously just speculation here. But Shisui is a very viable pick.

convinces obito to reach for greater power
obito kills rin/gains MS
now obito has a dimensional jutsu, makes it easier to gain power

btw: i like the Zetsu idea, Also, if Zetsu was around since those times. who made Zetsu?..
Couldn't Zetsu technically have a shot at being the younger brother of the Sage?

we KNOW he has senju dna

if the black half is uchiha dna, this thing all makes more sense

well you are rewriting history saying there is only 1 person that spawned from the sage. lol..
you never know. We never even found out what happened to the sages body

the sage is, as of right now, not a literal being


he's been spoken of as a legend, and as a folklore

it is also said he CREATED the uchiha and senju



when i say zetsu is the only spawn(theorey ofc) i meant literal spawn, as in the 6 paths' dna

thats because right now we have no sage.

That being said, Zetsu could possibly be the remainder of the 10 tailed beast, and corrupted various ninjas to reunite the 9 tailed beasts and then bring terror and destruction to the world..

even in the past tales, he's spoken of in folklore context

there are no remains, no proof, nothing until i see otherwise i'm forced to think of him as folklore


zetsu very well could be the remainder,it would explain why he is necessary for the bijuu statue and etc


but we've been informed about the white half, the black half is still a mystery, and him containing the original uchiha dna would be amazing,and it would fit

senju=light
uchiha=dark

etc etc


i know it's a long shot lol but it would make the story epic epic

Though, my roommate brought up an interesting guess that I don't think can be ruled out. Perhaps Tobi could be the Sage of Six Path's older son? The older son inherited the Rinnegan, and when Tobi went to get the Rinnegan from Nagato he said that he was claiming what rightfully belonged to him. He sort of fits the description as well as far as the noticeable aging is concerned. It's true that he would be old as fuck but the Rinnegan is the most powerful Dojutsu capable of god knows what... Again, a wild theory but I won't completely deny it because it can't be proven 100% wrong right off the bat.

Still, Madara Uchiha is a badass. I didn't like "Madara" because I thought he was Tobi this whole time and Tobi is shifty and uses extremely gay tactics. Real Madara is a total badass....


just gunna clarify. madara was the older son and he inherited the "eyes" not rinnegan. sharingan is what came from the "eyes"

At this point, there's really no telling where this story is going. I'm not ruling anything out anymore. By the way, I really like your reasoning for Tobi being Obito. That all makes tons of sense. If that's true, then I think Kakashi will be the one to figure that out in the story. I think I'm keeping my 3 choices to Zetsu-related being, Obito, and Izuna. I'm still having a rough time determining who it could be based on the fact that we just don't know what those 3 are capable of, and the reason I thought it was actually Madara was because I thought he was the only one who could possibly be doing all that shit. I can't really put a finger on anyone who would definitely be capable of all that.

I thought that the 2 sons were the Patriarchs of the Uchiha and Senju clans respectively. I think if the Sage only lived 100 years or so ago to give birth to Madara and Hashirama then people wouldn't only talk about him as a legend. I think there would be more physiological evidence.
