tobi is madara student, madra found and set the plans for nagto in motion i mean nagato is like pushing 20 years old now if not older it only makes sense when tobi took madara mantel he also took over the plans for nagato
these are my own opinons not facts but i have been saying for a while i think tobi is some random uchiha that madara found and adopted and trained
on another line of thought
tobi could be a 1st/ madara hybrid that madara grew off the tree a zetsu if you would say but a zetsu above all others a perfect one or something
on another line of thought
nagato could be tobi i mean the phrase " that little brat nagato grew so much"
two people with the same name i.e tobys real name is nagato. and the other nagato was a front or a cover but that nagato never knew
or it could be madara is just under the wrong impression cause dead for mass years
