i meant in how the story is told. and how they use camera-angles/color. i dig it.

and story wise, i haven't seen anything that resembles berserk (except that dude wielding the bigass boken).

as far as ive seen (i'm on ep 4) it's about a rivalry between 2 aspiring samurai to get ahead in their clan... nothing mystical/magical about it. haven't seen any demons yet either...

disagree on the first. i thought basilisk (as an anime) was rather boring.
on the second, i dunno yet. haven't reached the ending yet

the manga is decent tho

i loved it. its the ultimate showdown. and i love how it ends.

Just finished black cat.

I enjoyed the story line and the action in it, even thou they showed no blood lol.

Overall, the series was quite enjoyable, there was some decent comedy as well.

The bond between the characters grew quite nicely as well.

I rate it a good 9/10

Just watched Ninja Scroll the movie, very descent anime movie 8.5/10
