Was it a smudge-c4d styled tutorial? If the colors were more consistent it would probably look alot better.

Umm try and extend some of the effects further even if they are subtle so the sig doesn't look so empty. Colors are good, its basically just a matter of spicing the sig up a bit more.

Oh and I won't say anything about that "G" then lol.

it was a smudge tut. I added the c4d just for the sake of adding some extra color

try putting a new layer filled with orange or somthing and put it to color

Then its just orange O_o

no, put it to color on the layers tab

i did that the first time, the background just turns pretty much all orange. I put the orange layer right under the render

Edit: Instead i used Hue instead of color:
