the hokages lives are so undeveloped and unknown that they didnt have enough story to base that fight off of

we know how great they are but we dont know what they can actually do because they arent alive currently and they dont add to the continuation of the story

The greatest battle in the hidden leaf took place at the valley of the end where 1st hokage beat madara and the nine tails. Look at madara and look at naruto. The level of the ninja using the edo tensei is the level of the summons, the revived are puppets with fancy jutsu's . Orochimaru never used the technique to its full potential and did not use the first and second hokage to theirs either. You should know this by now.. It was apparent orochimaru was toying with the third until he used the sealing technique. There is no chance 3rd hokage could beat both 1st and second hokage at his age while they were in their prime and using their own techniques... He couldn't even beat 1st hokage alone, maybe the second but the second is a mystery.

You are Don't seem to understand how strong madara is right now. He is really weak in relation to his former self, a shadow of what he was.... he still scares the shit out of anyone who comes near him. We all see how strong the nine tails is. If you combine a full strength Madara and the 9 tails unleashed you have a serious force. The 1st Won that battle, That is why the valley of the end is the home of the most legendary battle in the history of the anime/manga.

Just to answer your question. There are tons on ninja who rape Orochimaru during his fight with the 3rd. How about any one of akatsuki or some of the Kage's.

First Hokage (Hashirama Senju) - Maybe not everyone knows about this but he gained control of several tailed beasts. < BAD ASS!

Second Hokage (Tobirama Senju) - Passed the "Will of Fire" to the future generations. Sacrificed himself to give the third a chance to escape.
P.S. - I honestly thought he's Kakashi's Great Grandfather or Jiraiya's Grand Father. Same Hair color? meh!

Third Hokage (Hiruzen Sarutobi) - so bad ass that they appointed him again after Minato's death!

The conversation I was responding to who is the strongest hokage. Simple, the first hokage is the strongest but like I said, its all personal opinion.. You're making yourself seem like a moron because you can't get past the fact the puppets Orochimaru used were the first and second hokage.
