Maybe. I don't see this series going past the war. I think we're reaching the close here. I mean, there aren't any other main villains to go off of here... If they let Kabuto escape and give us another Orochimaru-related arc I'm just gonna lose it. I think we've all had enough of those 2. It'd be nice if they decided to show some of the past battles when the series is over though. That'd be sick.

itachi will jump infront of whatever attack sasuke does and then sasuke will get one of those flashback moments where he grabs his face and his eyes will hurt and he will fight his evil side

He was already tested when Pain killed Jiraiya and he decided not to get revenge.
I'm pretty sure he's closer to Jiraiya then Kakashi.
