Stop watching then lol. DBZ has ALWAYS been childish and poorly written in comparison to other great Animes. Most of us were anywhere from 6-15 when we first started watching, I think I was 8 iirc. It's nostalgic and this series so far has kept true to the original in the way it's done. The buildup or true antagonist reveal hasn't even happened yet, kinda hard to judge a show and say it's trash when it hasn't done anything yet. Really though, we finished an entire tournament in a short amount of episodes and it was entertaining to watch. There were some animation issues and other problems in the start, but it seems like those have been mostly resolved and the story is progressing fairly quick in comparison to other DBZ sagas.

Apparently not, seeing as my first words were "Stop watching then". You're just an incredibly bitter person about all sorts of shit for no specific reason. If you didn't enjoy the tourney then ya, move on, DBZ just isn't for you anymore. Regardless, it's more or less the same as the original DBZ was. Buildup with some mediocre yet entertaining fights and then a reveal. Unlike the original, progression has been much faster so far in Super. You've just either forgotten what DBZ was or you're too cynical to realize that it's practically the exact same shit that it's always been lol.

It's like the original Dragon Ball. Nothing like Dragon Ball Z.

The tones of DB vs DBZ are vastly different. DB was light hearted with odd and more kid-friendly character designs. That's what DB Super is doing.
