You can change the short cut but you can't change the .exe icon that actually opens when you open diablo II, Therefore you cannot change the taskbar icon.

I know this problem occurs with some programs, but Firefox shouldn't be one of them, and I noticed there's a disparity between the Firefox icon on your desktop and the one in your task-bar.
I can presumably show you how to fix that, assuming its a problem in the first place.
