who knows, it was left pretty open for more so there's definitely a chance of it happening.
All comes down to how busy Wit Studio is and if they want to make more of it.

this anime got kinda boring even tho it had so much more potential
ending of episode 11 got me hyped for some real shit but what a letdown

The main drive was Biba and now hes dead
A 2nd season would be close to SoL

Biba was only part of the plot since the middle point of the anime though and his revenge really only made things worse for them.
nothing much was resolved in the end.

Ikoma still has to fulfill his promise to Mumei which i feel is the main plot point (aside from surviving)


There's plenty to go on for a Season 2.
really all just comes down to time and money for WIT Studio. (and if it got enough attention and worth it to make another one in their eyes)

Other than the complete eradication of the Kabane, but I feel that isn't enough for an entire series.

Some plot hole too

Why did the white blood so quickly work on Mumei, and then the white blood (that we never saw biba use on Ikoma) take forever to work?

I don't think they did a good job explaining why Ikoma was able to use the blue blood and control it either, other than "oh he's a male Kabaneri, they're different".

Just felt rushed. I'm not hoping for a 2nd season tbh
