so he couldn't consume naruto(since hes chained down) and thats why he could make clones to finish him off

Also, he could make those clones because he didnt have the kyuubi chakra at that time

I'm talking about Naruto being able to make shadow clones in kyuubi mode -.-

i liked the latest chapter, good to see Itachi in action again

when he is in that mode he is in full control thats why he can make clones since the kyuubi has to obey him now and isn't able to take him over


and in the part i quoted you talked about his mother helping him (the fight against kyuubi)
he was unable to make clones there since the kyuubi could drag out his chakra trough multiple clones, but he could make clones once his mother chained him to the ground since he kyuubi wouldn't be able to pull out his chakra

i hope this makes sense

ummmm 8 tails explained after he had the chakra not to use clones cuz the fox would be able to absorb narutos chakra much faster than naruto can feed off the 9 tails
