and if you only read the flash back episodes.
you wouldnt expect ace to serve under someone else.

it makes everything thats happen so far mean so much more.
and its actually relevant.

Agree completely. Best flashback arc in quite a while, even though it didn't touch me that much ^
Really fitting ending to it and great connection to the end in the present.

But hey, lets get back to the goddamn action now! The last page hinted that some badass powerup is on its way.
