Hey people. It's been a very long time. Last thing I watched was No Game No Life, and before that it was quite a while.

Anything good come out recently? I'm pretty indifferent to the genre as long as they do decent world building and character development.

So, I need some opinions here.

I've heard mostly good things, but I want to here from some skeptics on this one.

Yu Yu Hakusho is an anime that's been on my list forever that I still haven't watched. Last night I got all drunk with a buddy who I constantly recommend shows to and he brought this one up, he completely lost his shit and said he'd never watch another recommendation of mine until I at least make heavy progress into the show. I want to know what I can expect, is the character development/story that enticing? Is it just epic fights? Please avoid any huge spoilers or w/e, but I just wanted some input from the anime elites of this forum, it seems like everyone but me and their mother's have watched this lol.

Bro, how the hell have you never watched Yu Yu Hakusho!? It's such a classic. Don't tell me you've never watched Hunter x Hunter either. Lol I completely agree with your friend, you need to get on this. As someone who has a DN sig/ava you obviously have great taste ( ) so I know you'll appreciate Yu Yu. What to expect ? Awesome fight scenes, great character development, pretty funny dialogue, & the feels, pft. Every arc is better than the next with the exception of the last one, which generally nobody liked. It's not quite as good as H x H but still worth watching.

I'm on it. About 30 episodes in and I'm enjoying it, the first 20 episodes or so were a bit hard to swallow due to just looking dated. I have watched Hunter x Hunter and it's without a doubt in my top 5.
