a's arm was cut off to stop the flames and not to mention sasuke didnt focus on his arm when he casted it, a rammed his arm threw the flames to hit sasuke cause he was using flames as a shield

im not saying that nagato didnt use shinra tensei to remove the flames from him, but i am saying the loss of the MS on the crow, who was controlling the amaterasu, is the reason that the flame is extinguished

i dont recall the flames being put out or still burning post ss or didnt happen

i think once they cut the arm off it became un important to the story and they left it with out divulging if it was still on fire or not

well it doesnt make sense that he can push fire off himself but when he was wearing clothes they stayed on lol
