Crop the image so that there is no excess image.

The image that's in your avatar might be this big:

Because of that, your kb size will be huge because technically the picture you use is actually huge (but it only shows whats inside the avatar ofc, because that's the only part showing).

If you crop just around your avatar, it won't seem like it changes anything, but it will actually lower the kb size and delete all the excess stuff.
