Log horizon not much action there so i understand. I haven't watched claymore or blood either.

But hunter x hunter and code geass like many other animes have a slow start, but suddenly they get better and better.

I saw the first 9 eps of guilty crown and Its my opinion but its nothing compared to those 2.

the contrast of things you enjoyed and things you dropped is a little oxymoronic but definitely take the dude below's advice and try Berserk. My favorite show of all time. Maybe try some abrasive films as well? Ninja Scroll and the less graphic Sword of the Stranger.

started watching berserk im hooked already after 2 episodes

dont have that with the other suggested series even though they might be the same genre as others i did like

I'm trying to avoid the 5,000+ episode animes so try to recommend me the shorter ones if you can.
Also trying to stay away from the first half dubbed second half subbed only animes.
And last trying to stay away from animes that focus only on a love story. I'm sure they're great and all but I prefer the whole Sci Fi thing much more.

Recently finished Steins;Gate and it was AMAZING! I'm all for the whole time travel idea, but getting kind of bored of this butterfly effect and having to go back and fix everything. Are there any dubbed animes out there that are about time travel in the since of Doctor Who? If not, I'm open for w/e animes you guys recommend.
