Seems like book 3 is moving so quick witout any like development of side story, like no toph appearance, what is Korra gonna do to address the plant spirit issue in episode 1, wats goin on wit the president? Not 1 appearance of fire nation.

I kinda like that the story is on point wit the important stuff but a lil side stuff is not too bad

The plant stuff was solved early on, people are gonna have to live with it and cohabit with the spirits.

As for Toph, I hope she makes an appearance, I get she's the one who will kick the ass of that lava bending guy.

As for pace, the original avatar series has 3 seasons with more episodes per season for one story. The ratings never, ever really sustained high enough to keep this pace, so for Korra they had to keep to short, self contained seasons. Now, the ratings were mainly due to horrible scheduling and advertising, messing around the time slot, and the target audience not watching it on TV, it had nothing to do with the quality of the show, but network execs don't give a shit.

Now that it's off the air and onto digital, don't expect to see too much more anymore once this season is over.

Edit: mad respect for Tenzen. Every other big occasion before, he fell short, but this time, he was awesome and bad ass.

korra used water bending to try to get rid of the roots.

I almost expected when I said "Until I draw breath, I will fight." that Zaheer would be like OK and suck the air out of him like he did with the queen.

I hope so, he's been the father figure throughout the whole series. He's this generations iroh and lets face it, we all loved iroh.

It's a little expected for Tenzin to be able to fight Zaheer on equal grounds since he has been an airbender much much longer. Disappointed in Kya's abilities though, i half expected them to switch enemies. I actually think teen katara is stronger than like 45 year old Kya.

Well, as those swamp benders said, controlling water inside plants is what makes plant bending available, which is what Korra actually did with the spirit wines


And what comes to Kya's fighting abilities, I think she's more of a healing guy than fighter

In the end Water bending is used for mending (or that's what Katara said iirc) and not fighting

Tenzen being boss as always, ofc he isn't dead, they're going to trade him for Korra (or that's what i think is going to happen)
And then Korra goes mad and enters avatar state to rape Zaheer and his gangbangers

Then he uses blood bending, like that guy in first season, to take their bending away (or that thing Aang used, but I think she doesn't know how to do that since she never met the lionturtle)

Or they commit suicide after failing so badly

he is a true air bending master after all, im glad he put up a fight. if he didnt, then theres a big problem in terms of skill level between them
