I know this doesn't really belong in here but I would feel silly making a thread about it :P

does anyone know where the deadman wonderland manga starts up after the anime?

I just read the whole manga instead :P

Just like the anime it had its faults but overall a decent watch and shiro is still one of my favorite characters :O

I finished Sword Art Online yesterday and I actually liked it a lot; namely, the first 15 or 16 episodes.

Is there anything similar? I don't necessarily mean stuck in a video game or anything, but hopefully something with a similar atmosphere to that of the first portion of SAO.

You could check out Accel World also made by the guy who did SAO

Log Horizon which is similar to the idea of being stuck in a world but it is more about politics. Really good.

Btooom - survival game / short

I started Log Horizon yesterday and I'm currently on episode 23. :lol:

I'll check out Accel World next.

Thank you.

Well, small update:

I finished Log Horizon, which I found to be enjoyable, albeit lacking compared to the first portion of SAO;
I immediately loathed the main character of Accel World and had to stop watching within two minutes;
Btooom was immediately too.. futuristic for my tastes.

When I say astmosphere, I mean it aimed more towards SAO's sense of adventure/advancement, where it feels like the characters are progressing

One piece :D

it's all about adventure and everyone gets stronger and stronger as the series goes on but not at a stupidly fast rate like sao

i'm no sure why noone mentioned the .hack shows but ya
sao, log horiz, and btoom all came out around the same time a few years back as part of a trend that rips off the .hack shows with modern animation

anyway might wanna check out "tower of druaga" video games arent explicetly mentioned but thats exactly how i feels
ixion saga was the fourth soa rip off that came out a couple years ago (it wasnt good)

Tsubasa Chronicles will make you feel like you're in the game Questing to Save the Princess
Hunter X Hunter is an adventure shounen about a boy becoming stronger, the greed island arc is about a video game environment being staged in the real world where
