Shows are techniques centric, they need some way of explaining to the viewer how they work this is it

Because it doesn't do anything. Its just stronger than his shikai. Also renju didn't either

Not only can he see the future, but he apparently can't be damaged.

ichigo will fight him. when icihigo starts losing, ishida will show up and betray and win.

Throw in some "Zomg, he betray us" followed by Ichigo getting "killed", then Ishida getting killed by Ywach when he thinks his back is turned and he can get in a cheap shot, then Ichigo revives and wins cuz mad that Ishida died.
