Ok i'm really in need of some EPIC action anime to watch

I took a break from watching anime due to work, but i've got time to watch again. I've watched the 14 episodes of Attack on titan which has been awesome.

Other animes i have watched and loved are

Fate/Stay Night (plan on watching Zero)

I enjoy maturity. Gore and a generally serious mood is good for me.

Prefer 12 episode series, I am also looking for some awesome MOVIES to watch in bed.

some may be longer than 12 episodes, or multiple seasons, but maybe check out

So I've pretty much run the spectrum of good horror anime it feels like.

I love psychological horror but in general anything horror centric is good to me.

With one exception of Hell Girl, I could not get into it at *all*

One other note is animation quality is pretty important to me, I tend to steer clear of older animes for this reason...I'm talking about like 90s.

So anyone have any suggestions on some good horror anime? I haven't really checked up on any new ones since...oh 2010? So anything after that would be good.
