Cept Love Hina is even more of what you want then. Naru pretty much doesn't get along with MC Easily at all. Same goes with every character around his age (so not including the much 'kids')

Kotonoha no niwa ( new movie )
voices of a distant star

( I know they all have the same director, but I've only been following his works right now ).

I've watched a lot of other movies too, but don't want to list em. If I can't find enough to watch, I'll post a separate post later C:

Thanks! I've used myanimelist.net, but I think it's faster looking for some more detailed recommendations. A lot of reviews on myanimelist are half-assed.

DVD is highest quality. They MIGHT remaster it into Blu ray if the Hollywood movie does well, which I doubt
