Whatever you do don't watch it (assuming the anime and manga are very similar) if you don't want to read something depressing

Saikano was pretty interesting, especially the ending. The whole thing reminded me of Ai Ren (another depressing yet osmewhat hopeful series)

let me break it down,

Ayumi likes Zaitsu the younger brother
Zaitsu the older brother like's Ayumi but Ayumi's brother loves her aswell
Ayumi's brother is liked by Misaki
Zaitsu the younger brother likes Misaki
Koyoi loves her brother but her brother likes Misaki.
Rika likes a tennis dude (sortof) and the tennis dude likes her. (anomaly)
Kusuda and Kei are kind of indifferent to each other, neither are pursued by anyone.
Hiroyuki like Nao but Nao has feelings for this painter
Uemura likes Yuu but Yuu likes everyone.
Meguru likes Takei but Takei loves swimming.
