Its not like Naruto is going to have to make his exams after everythings over, same with Sasuke if he comes back..

In what chapter?
Genma only says the exam is over and that Sasuke already is on chunin level, not that he has passed the exam.

Yeah but the chuunin exams aren't just about winning your fight. Its mainly about seeing who the best decision makers/leaders are

The best leaders lose their fight, They die, their team is dead... not a very good leader.

Must have leader skills yes, but they also must be able to bring something with that...
