Maybe look into Satsuma Gishinden if you're looking for something a bit more serious..

And maybe Texhnolyze. Its not really horror but pretty dark.

I dont understand the other suggestions tho. He asked for "adult anime" and you name stuff like Mirai Nikki DW and Another.

Although he did ask for adult anime with some horror, it seemed to me that he was looking for suspense/thriller? Maybe it was just me thinking that though
