I'm pretty sure it doesnt matter because he still lost and he dealt like no damage to pitou and he did lose his arm in like 2 seconds.

from what I see Gon had the same emotional state when he fought knuckle and still lost.

It was already made pretty clear the reason he lost his arm was because Gon was still there. That's why Gon is also feeling guilty.

He would've most likely lost, but being an arm down to something much stronger than you, at least in terms of raw power, is pretty huge.

I'm not saying Kite is weak in anyway I believe he would've held his own against Pitou if Gon wouldnt have been there. What I'm saying is that it's such bullshit how this show is kinda pushing how strong Gon is becoming in such short time to go from losing to Knuckle to basically being stronger than Knuckle or atleast how the show is hyping him up to be right now as he stands before Pitou in that short short time span is soooo gayyyyyyyyyyyyy.

BTW I'm not reading the manga so I'm sorry if this sounds dumb coming from a person who doesnt know whats gonna happen next.

i hate how they keep showing a lil preview of last weeks episode.. such a waste of time.

It'll end at a certain point of story going slow or not, but yeah.

Still quite a bit of canon left, if they decide to keep on after this arc.

No reason why they wouldn't since that arc is finished
We got around half a year of HxH anime left depending if they slow down during the next arc or not.
