Bleach has been on a pretty a decent streak of chapters lately. One thing I don't get:

If the mere existence of hollows is like poison to quincies, then how the hell was Ishida able to fight against them? Shouldn't he have been "poisoned" when he came into contact with them? Maybe it's because he's half human or something?

they can fight them they just can't get "invaded" by them, whatever that means

like what happened to ichigo's mom

whenever urahara is involved, bleach becomes a normal manga that takes time to read and enjoy

ichigo Is everything and I guess that's why they cant take his bankai perhaps because he has hollow powers.

Thats why Yhwach wants to get him on his side it would seem to cancel out that effect when going after the soul king. Just another reason this arc is so good it's so hard to tell what will happen when he always changes things lol.
