no, you only need sharingan for izanagi, it makes you invincible for short time but you lose the eye

ya thats what i thought, he just had his eye and the 1st cells in his arm but im prob wrong and to lazy to go find the chapter lol

u need both uchihah and senju dna explained my madara right before he killed konan

it's not the dna it's the bloodline traits

you need the senju and uchiha bloodline traits


and it's to use izanagi without losing your vision


you can use izanagi without senju but you lose the eye

zzz then why did tobi lose eye vs konan? he has senju blood/ dna he has a whole fucking tree of it,

tobi lost his left eye during the fight with konan because he can only stays in his "ghost state" or multi dimension state for 5 mins and konans explosion lake of death lasted 10 mins so tobi resorted to using inzangi to survive and his left eye got sealed because of it konan didn't know of inzangi and thought she killed tobi then tobi uses right eye to teleport behind konan and stabs her then uses gentsu to get the location to nagatos body, then he takes body back to his base and takes the rinnigian and puts it in place of the left eye that went blind ,

tobis goal is to become to the point of the sage of 6 being able to use inzangi with out losing eyes but you need both senju and uchiha dna to use inzangi but you need a even more evolved form to use it with out blindness

my assumption is now he has rinnigian he might be able to use inzangi ez peasy you dig?

also i believe tobi set the stage and did some medical experiments on nagato as a kid for him to develop the rinningan and to grow it and mature it all for the purpose of tobi in the end killing nagato for it using nagato as a host for the eye

i also believe uzamki is the product of senju and uchiha interbreeding is why nagato made such a good host , this is also why naruto will become the reincarnation of the sage in power and in mentality
