I am really puzzled as to why Ichigo would need to "part" ways with them. Only thing I could fathom would be that due to all the training and revelations that Ichigo has gone through that soon he will be a permanent soul reaper and not have a "human" form any longer.

maybe his reiatsu gonna be too strong, and he can't live in the real world w/o messing shit up

To be honest, i think shunsui has a much darker intent on his mind, he does look a lot more devious then before.

It's clearly something way more bigger then that. With the way the story is going and having the soul king be shown.

I doubt Ichigo is going to die. He's probably just going to become a captain or something.

I doubt it. Not with how the story has been so far.
