he fought evenly with kizaru with just haki and a sword, and he's not even close to his prime

his powers are powerful, but he doesnt know how to use them yet, he just got both of them recently.

This means that Blackbeard escaped from a fight with Shanks ( one of the four Yonkou ) and actually left permanent marks. That's actually somthing lol.
