what a shit season so far super slow hardly any developmenthttp://cdncache-a.akamaihd.net/items/it/img/arrow-10x10.png kirito still not in GGO like holy shit

Everyone complained about SAO being way too rushed since they only spent 12 episodes in that game and then 12 episodes in ALO
now they're trying to drag the GGO arc out to 24 episodes and people are complaining about it being too slow
can't be pleased...

Personally not watching this season. But is it moving that slow?

I'd say it's more or less that SAO took place over 2 years of time, but lasted 12 episodes that it seemed so overly rushed. I personally would have prefered a long anime over 100 eps long where they would do each floor over 1 or 2 episodes. But that will never happen :p

GGO, if i'm not mistaken, took place over less than a weeks time, but will last twice as long as Aincrad did? Now that does in fact seem slow.. But who knows, if it's following the Light Novel, i know the story was pretty damn slow until Kirito actually got inside of GGO. People's opinions may change after that.

actually some stuff so far feels like it's gone faster than it did in the book

SAO s1 wasn't really rushed, that was pretty much all the content available from the books in the first half

It seems rushed for an anime though. My friends and I all agreed "This show would be SO much better if they just extended SAO to the full 24 eps." Then I read the LN and saw how closely the followed it

The story itself is rushed
On episode 2 they are still on floor 1 trying to beat the first boss
Like 2 episodes later they're on floor... 50? Or higher? And he is shown to not get along with asuna
The next episode they are in love
The next episode they get married and have a house
And then the next episode they adopt a child
We get no chance to see them develop their relationship at all
I also think for them to make such a huge transition from a medieval theme to a futuristic theme in the same anime they need a few episodes to ease the mc in
But yeah it is going pretty damn slow
I still have high hopes thougu

So I've seen episode 1 and am hard searching for a place where I can watch episode 2. Any help with this would be awesome.
