But you're still reading translations of the LN
Basically you're being told on what is in the LN not the LN itself
Itd be like reading a summary of the LN cause you're being told what's in the LN it's not the LN itself
But I mean if it makes you feel better you can lie to yourself
Cause you didn't read the LN you read a translation
There's no changing your stand of the matter. I've tried to point out the flaws but you seem to push them aside.
I've been trying to say a translation of what you're saying to me in my own words, but it's wrong because it's a translation.
But fine. Let me borrow your logic for a minute. Reading a translation of a book is not reading the book but reading a translation. I am lying to myself if I believe that I read the LN.
Now I'm going to parallel your logic to other medium like anime and manga. Sure they are visual, but so are books. But you're going to dismiss that so let's carry on.
I don't speak Japanese, I can't read Japanese and I can't learn Japanese. So I rely on translations. And translations are summaries. If I wanted to skip to the end but not be lost, I should probably go read summary summaries.
But in the end, I'll still never have read the manga or watched the anime. Because I only read / watched translations.
I guess the MAL "Watched" listings shouldn't exist for people who don't speak Japanese. Because they haven't watched anything. Only translations.
