Hunter x Hunter 2011, by the last arc, the fights are pretty fucking epic. Takes longer than Bleach to get as epic, with all the Bankai shit and w/e, but it's still shonen. Everyone has unique abilities, and everyone's abilities continue to get stronger as the show progresses. You should watch it, a handful of the fights are better than any bleach fight, except maybe the fucking Fully Hollowed Ichigo vs Ulquiorra, that shit was stupid sick.

You could check out

Naruto/ One Piece/ Fairytale, since that's all the same shit as Bleach.

Or you could watch Fate/Zero or Fate Unlimited Blade Works, those are both epic as fuck.

Neither of these are anything like Bleach. Both are AMAZING shows, but they don't fit what he's asking for at all.....

What?

Use the internet. Use Google Chrome, make sure to install addblock, google "watch Hunter x Hunter 2011" you can watch it dubbed or subbed, I prefer the subbed, but I think 70 episodes now are dubbed. Start at the beginning and enjoy. First arc is the main character going through taking his test to get his hunter's license, and meeting his friends along the way, second part is trying to earn money and fighting at a place called Heaven's Arena, they do some training, fight a bunch, it's pretty sick. Third arc is them trying to get a game, but this insane group of murderers/thieves etc.. show up and then it's the engagements between them and the heroes. Fourth arc is them going inside of a video game that you can die in and that whole experience. Fifth arc is the Chimera Ant arc, the best anime arc in anime history imo. 6th arc isn't really an arc, it's like the last 10 episodes and it just kinda introduces you to a few more characters and sets up the next arc, which is currently what the writer is working on.

The writer of the show has health problems and he refuses to work for long periods of time anymore. It could be another 10+ years before the next arc is finished, but it'll be worth it. It's the best anime ever imo.

Thanks 4 the informative reply Jade. I guess the lingo confused me. I watched the entire series on Netflix. I was hoping there were some episodes I missed. Also I was unaware of his health problems. That's very sad.... I'm so impatient for this series. And to think it could be that long before my anime thirst is quenched. I'll try some of your prior suggestions. Fate/zero. Thanks . 4 your time

There are lots of episodes you're missing..... Once again, use the internet to watch these, since they're not on hulu/netflix etc.

Netflix only goes to the beginning of the chimera ant arc, that arc finishes, and there are about 10-15 episodes after that I think, that wrap up everything and lead it into the next arc, which is what we're currently waiting on.
