I personally don't but I can see the appeal. How can people watch soap operas? I couldn't but that's just me, these fall into the same category, I don't see the appeal but that doesn't make it wrong.

The only thing I hate is that it's generally the fans who watch things that I consider boring romance/mundane/constant fan service etc... type shows who talk down to anyone who doesn't like or know about the super fucking obscure show they just started. It's honestly weird, it seems like people who enjoy anime (like I do) would try to promote it and have it branch out as much as possible, that would hopefully lead to more and more shows, giving a higher probability that a few more would actually be worth watching. Yet, the majority of people here seem content bashing on anyone who doesn't watch exactly what they watch and god forbid you watch Bleach/ Naruto or One Piece.

Anime must have action or it's just some random romance faggotry with 24/7 talking

and anyway it's not always clear cut on what an anime is

gintama is a comedy that also has great action and drama in it during the story arc's
