The Hunter Exam and the Tower was what got me into it originally... Then i got bored starting at Yorknew city, and at the start of the greed island arc right now debating on dropping the entire show xD First couple arcs seemed to have set up a lot more than the show is giving.

The arc overstayed it's welcome, way too long to keep me interested, specially since it had an horrible conclusion and terrible fights. The series is getting to the point where Dragon ball Z got uninteresting, just saying a character is super strong does not make the show more interesting than what it was. If Gon got that strong then the action sequences should reflect that. Not just: power-up, charge up an attack and be done with it. The only interesting sequence in that arc is when they storm the palace while it's getting destroyed.

funny how the more popular a show gets the more people want to find something wrong with it. happens every time a shounen gets popular; kids trying to sound like they know how to assign value to art are trolls.

That's simply because there is more people with different opinions watching the show, it's the same with any type of shows, or any type of fuckin anything in this world.

This show's arcs are so different from one another it can't be a crowd pleaser at every turn.
