Rose of Versailles, in the French translation it was called lady Oscar. Or maybe mini fairy or Grendizer, all of these were playing around the same time when I was 6. That was in '85 :D

ahh
i guess dbz but i figured out it was anime pretty quick. or at least japanese if i didnt know the term
i remember arguments on the school bus in elementary school over whether trunks was a myth or not
