that's his job though, knights assistant.
the only reason Mio is jousting is because she's doing something that Taka loves.
she didn't quit the duel, because that means she would have to leave the school, and that equals to leaving Taka.

Yeah, she's probably the biggest sweetheart of any anime I've watched recently.
Was kind of refreshing. My normal anime's, the female leads are evil bitches. :P

tbh, she looked almost exactly like Lala from To Love-Ru before she cut her hair.

Yeah, that they do. I'm not sure how to handle the sweetheart female lead.
Still, an awesome anime. I'd recommend people watch it.

Havent watched any of the eps yet. But synopsis sounds like the story of Freezing (exept for the reason why he is becoming sort of an assistant of the female "knights")
