I didnt like the first episode, it seems like as if they started on episode 5 and didnt explain shit yet

i thought they explained it? It's basically the new expansion in the game and when it went live they awoke up in the game world

well it's not like they have to explain everything in the first ep, That kinda the point of watching.
They themselves don't know what's happening so as the series progresses we'll learn more.

You mean because how they already knew the zones and how to play?
They played the game prior to this, just not in first person ultra virtual reality.

I like LH, it's a lot more closer to how players would act in a MMO. And it's not a series where everything revolves around the Gary Stu main character ( SA:O ) . It's a lot more SoL with MMO politics / friendships / gameplay .

The only thing I'll potentially dislike about this adaptation is that a lot of the more "gritter" or more "human" parts will be skipped.

For example there's bad guilds that control some part of certain cities in which they started the commerce of sex slave of female NPC's and then upgrading to female players. Some parts of the world is pretty anarchic depending on which zone and / or cities they are.

Some players are bored because they've been end game content for a long time, so they act like douchebags and griefers/ PKers. Which is lovely, because this happens all the time in MMOs.


This will probably not be in the anime due to the fact that it's being broadcasted on NHK Educational TV.

There won't be much graphic portrayal of how mean certain players can be when in this situation. Because well... National TV. Can't be showing bad things to your children yo.


There's a high chance that they won't go too much in depth in what could be considered the dark side of people interacting with other people.
