just finished avatar last airbender thank you very much for suggesting it, I found it outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed it I think my next one is going to be full metal alchemist

death note was my first. was just amazing compared to american cartoons. then i saw code geass next, then the fullmetal alchemist, then future diary, and it just kept going.

fma is a pretty good one... you should probably watch generic stuff like naruto next though

I'd go with naruto, bleach, one piece, for start, then death note, elfen lied, Requiem for the Phantom, black lagoon, code geas, d gray man, trigun, etc.
- If you like old school ( imo, all the best anime ) i'd go with dragon ball, yuyu hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, inuyasha,etc.
