I've always been under the impression that all manga is just story board for anime.

I prefer anime although a lot of times I'll read mange when I'm away at school. When my roomie goes to bed and I have to be quiet, it's easier for me to lay in bed on my tablet and read than strain my eyes to follow animation/read subtitles on a tiny screen. Each has its pros and cons. The only manga I can't stand is Naruto because every week when I read it I can't follow what the hell is going on. It just looks like scribbles to me However, I'm too far ahead in that show to go back to the anime. For that reason, Naruto, Bleach, and Fairy Tail are the only ones I really read on a schedule.

Manga and always manga.

Cause the manga is written/drawn by the author/mangaka, which means there is much more development in the story and characters. While anime sometimes deviates from the story and becomes completely unrelated or weird because the anime gets ahead of the manga or if the producers want to try to "spice" the story up (adding really dumb arcs). The one and only reason I can think of that anime is better then the manga is that sometimes the artwork is polished up.

so yeah you are probably right about most people telling you to read manga, they read crap... and they still tell you it is better then anime, this should be a red flag, but you still make a poll...

either read manga or don't \_/ <- there's the care cup. make a decision on your own for once, like most people over 5 years old do.. and please stop flooding Anime forums with this nonsense.

Movie is the evolution of Books, of course it would be better.

nope. an anime will have more than or the same amount of dialogue/writing as its manga counterpart, while the opposite is true for books and movies.

anime has way more potential in every aspect as an artistic medium. the real preference comes down to pacing and availability. manga is for people who want the story as soon as its released ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶p̶e̶o̶p̶l̶e̶ ̶w̶h̶o̶ ̶w̶a̶n̶t̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶g̶e̶t̶ ̶t̶h̶r̶o̶u̶g̶h̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶s̶t̶o̶r̶y̶ ̶a̶s̶ ̶f̶a̶s̶t̶ ̶a̶s̶ ̶p̶o̶s̶s̶i̶b̶l̶e̶ and for people who would rather get a lower quality product sooner than get a higher quality product later (only true for manga that have good anime adaptations)

The thing is that doesn't happen that often and not every manga will be adapted to an anime.

Anime, because I'm just too lazy to read. Although I do read subs anyway, but I prefer moving images over the still ones.
