there are quite a decent amount of animes nowadays focuses on pettankos as the main female lead.
and regards to how every other anime is highschool related
try broadening your scope, there are a bunch others which you've not even explored into at all.
besides, even if everything is highschool related, why does it matter? it relates to the demographic it is targeting in the first place.
if you're looking for ninja bullshit that drags, and drags, and drags. with 1 antagonist taking up 10000000 episodes, and when that antagonist dies, another 1000000 episodes are created for a new antagonist, and then once that other one dies, they somehow manage to revive the first antagonist for another 10000999 episodes, go ahead, really, no one's stopping you, i'm pretty sure it's a big hit.
