The anime was superbly hand drawn as well, absolutely gorgeous. It's only flaw was the animation ( the lack of it ) .

Both SD and berserk are not underrated, they are simply old. As such, a lot of the anime crowd of the 2000s and 2010s have never seen or are unaware of them.

real examples are animes that get overlooked cause other animes get overhyped in the same season

Kokoro Connect is one of them. So is Kotoura-san.

I have a hard time deciding whats underrated. Best I could come up with off the top of my head is Mushishi I guess....

1. isnt slam dunk really old?
2. hasnt slam dunk got about 7 seasons?
3. isn't slam dunks graphic quality really worse? like digimon 1?
4. i wouldnt mind watching the last season of it since the quality seems okay, but i need to watch the other ones too, to understand it right?
5. why does everyone recommend 1945 years old anime instead of good quality ones which are new and also good? :mellow:

As long as i've seen those i don't care if others did or not.
Kokoro connect was one of the few animes like clannad, which made me sad even though i'm usually cold. episode 5 was it or something
when that girl jumped out of the river, and she said farewell to everyone and it turned out to be a joke puh LOL

kotoura san was really funny :rofl:

Oh man this anime is just insane, after the first episode I just couldn't stop watching it. The best part about it is the qoutes in the end, unbelievable  qoutes which are meant for each and every episode.

Anyways this is an open thread, please list the animes that you've watched whom you think is underrated! and why. I'd love to watch some good unknown animes.
