You make it sound like I don't go fishing on a nice Saturday morning; I love fishing and outdoors and at the same time anime, but that doesn't stereotype me to be inside on a computer screen 24/7

the vast majority of your life gets taken up by work, sleep, driving, food and other shit you're supposed to do to maintain your standard of living

the fleeting moments of time between these daily necessities is where you actually live your life and it's within those moments that your hobbies reside

these are your hobbies because you enjoy them and they define who you really are

I am 25 y/o and I have been watching anime since I was a wee little shota, now that I am older I also read manga and play VN's from time to time. I will never stop, It is my tv/reading entertainment since I do not like Honey Boo Boo and Twilight.

I have other hobbies, I still practice my kendo a little, I grow and sell weed since it is legal in my state, I jog, I go airsoft shooting every weekend and refine/recycle gold.. camping and dirt biking in the summer.

so OP are you going to stop watching tv altogether? or are you going to watch the kardashians and Honey Boo Boo instead?

Better go out every weekend spend 500$ on alcohol and "having a blast" while the day after you might not remember much. instead of watching an anime you like > having a nostalgic fit about it some years later.
