Gintama is definitely a must watch. It'd help if you watched a ton of other anime / know about certain things related to Japan. But even so it's still amazing.

--- There are 2 Season. Although Technically there are currently 6. 6th being the newest.

1st season consists of 4 parts. (1 year = 1 part)

The first episode (or 2) is filler so you could skip them.
Also warning that it starts off slow but after most of the side/main characters are introduced it will get way better.



Mostly because every other opening is taken down or without audio.....and because it is an awesome opening
