I liked it a lot at start (i marathon'd the shit out of it), but the further it got it just got more and more lame, dissapointing, fucked up.
Also the fact that the chapters came irregularly kinda ruined it for me.

The thing is, Evangelion displays way too much symbolism, alot of people don't understand it.
Especially the ending, seriously who wouldnt get pissed off from that.
