Not when they're still airing. Every single score counts towards the total then. Also, I believe that it's 20%.

One Piece is going to end up on top 5 when it finishes airing for the same reason. It's a major flaw in MAL's scoring system.

Omg why is Gintama so good! It always has a lot of emotions.

um major flaw idk typically anything that is in the top 50 is worth watching imo while it may not be scored quite evenly most animes on the top of the list are well worth the watch
