I get whats going on.
Its a little slow but thats what you get with a 2 seasons worth show

was pretty fucking weird to spring that all of a sudden.
i think they were reconditioned/hypno'd to some extent after their return 2 years prior - forcibly becoming gay, to prevent any reproduction & passing on of unlocked cantii.
or it could have been a random yaoi moment to suit some fujoshi producer's whim. they better explain that shit down the road though.
