Manga and anime is the same thing.
Just that each has it priorities.

Manga focus on the story line with more details on how each character works, environment, and scenes.

Anime takes the manga, reduces some details(it can vary on the reason), adds color, audio, and animation into this.

I hate reading. Thats my only reason to not read Manga.

imo anime is the better medium but for most series manga > anime since the anime tend to be shit adaptations
It's not a fair comparison with a shit anime adaptation and a good manga
Now if they were both really good, or both really shit then anime would be better

But those types of anime tend to be rare so you would be better off reading the manga

Manga tends to have far more content, and the author tends to have much more freedom. Anime derived from manga tends to lose lots of content.

When manga and anime of the same title both exist, the manga is better 90+% of the time.

I don't read manga at all.
I can understand reading a book and thinking it's better than a movie tho, everything is left to your imagination so you can imagine every scene as epic as you want it to be.

Manga is superior to Anime in the same way that books are superior to movies...

Personally, I can't stand watching anime, even series w/o many fillers, I find it hard to just watch an anime.

Take Gantz for example... a lot of people may not like Gantz, but the anime covers like a whopping 1% of the story in the manga...
That shits not cool.


Then again, when I want to relax, I'll read a book instead of watch a movie, so yeah...
