This might sort of count as anime since Chrono Trigger's character illustrations were drawn by Akira Toriyama, and theres like a small Chrono Trigger OVA thing out there.

i went to a recent anime convention andi saw keychains of the watch in FMAB, soulgem in magica madoka and the cross in death note
